NJTC Venture Fair - 03/08/05 (Apps due 01/21/05)

The New Jersey Technology Council announces the New Jersey Venture Fair, the exposition where emerging businesses meet investors and entrepreneurial supporters, scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset,, NJ.
The New Jersey Venture Fair is an opportunity for emerging companies to show unique products or services to the investment community. Both technology and non-technology companies are encouraged to apply. Please visit http://www.njtc.org/events/vf05/index.html to learn more about the Venture Fair and submit an application.

The Exhibiting Company criteria are as follows:

Emerging high growth businesses with unique products and services

Private companies seeking seed to expansion stage capital from angels and venture capitalists within the next 12 months

Companies located in NJ, NY, PA, DE, MD, CT, MA and FLA

Companies seeking less than $10M in funding (except biotech and drug development companies)

All exhibitor applications are pre-screened. Exhibitors are selected by a qualified committee of business professionals. Companies that are accepted to exhibit are provided with exhibit booth space or an exhibit table. Each company will be assigned a coach who will assist them in preparations for the Fair.

Additionally, accepted exhibiting companies may choose to make a formal presentation to the Venture Fair audience.

The application fee includes:
One exhibit table or booth space
Five admissions to the Fair for employees and/or guests
Five box lunches
Inclusion in the Venture Fair program guide, special NJBiz insert and all advertising.

The application deadline is Friday, January 21. Applications are reviewed and processed as they are received.

Center is accepting companies for the fourth group of our Executive
Mentoring Program that provides NJTC technology member companies with a
team of experienced professionals in the fields of Finance, Legal,
Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Funding. Selected candidates will meet
with each team privately and receive feedback on their plans and
strategies, practice their marketing pitch, receive financial and legal
insights, and entrepreneurial resources and contacts to speed their
company's path for development and improve their prospects for success.
The next group of companies will meet with the mentors in mid January to
mid February.
