(11/12/05) Wharton SBDC: Build the business you've dreamed of
If you’re an entrepreneur—or have always wanted to be one—we invite you to take the next step in building your business. Please join us at the Wharton School for a special 1-day consulting program.
The Wharton Small Business Development Center (WSBDC), a division of the Sol C. Snider Entrepreneurial Research Center at the Wharton School, is passionately committed to helping entrepreneurs in the state of Pennsylvania to start and grow their businesses. Founded in 1980, the WSBDC has been a driving force in the growth of over 20,000 small businesses in just the past decade.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
When you join us for the day, you will enjoy special presentations and small-group consulting facilitated by WSBDC consultants. Small-group consulting ensures that your business idea will receive the attention it deserves.
You will systematically think through every aspect of your business and, by day’s end, you will build a milestone-driven plan to help you:
Identify your vision and goals—and necessary resources—for your business
Prioritize your next steps
Compare your business with competitors
Identify your strengths—and understand what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur
Learn how to better lead and manage people
Find out where to go for help in financing your ideas
Hear how to use information technology to do more with less
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
You will also benefit from powerful peer networking and the opportunity to talk with others who have successfully built businesses. Post-program consulting is available.
